In a time of global turmoil and being left to our own demise by our great government, Holden Pizzolato and I thought it would be fitting to create a way for communities to help themselves. Influenced by the “worker bee” mentality, where everyone works together for the good of the hive, Hiven is an app that connects community members. It's a starting ground for neighborhoods to create and build mutual aid networks.
Hiven's entire focus is on community connection. If a project needs help getting traction, it's featured in the weekly Spotlight. The interactive calendar makes it easy to keep track of your engagements. Group messaging and project pages are the places to get all the information you need on a project.
