I created a typographic title sequence for Candyman, the 1992 cult horror film. My goal for the sequence was to intrigue young, film enthusiasts who are looking for more than a slasher. I intended to create a sequence with a sense of danger while arousing curiosity for what is to come next.
The resulting title sequence tells the story of how Candyman is a product of violence and creates a haunting atmosphere that captures the essence of what it is to be a member of the community living in fear of Candyman.
